Caldera

When I first heard about calderas on a podcast, I identified with the idea of a tranquil crater with burning hot magma beneath the surface.

I tried to compose a score that embodies that contrast, by inspiring the feeling of an eruption at the drop, when the smooth jazz chords stop, and the bass hits hard.
